I’m Dr. Tom Rigg, a licensed psychologist in New York with a PhD in Counseling Psychology and over seven years of clinical experience. I work with individuals and couples navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, and more.
My approach is grounded in Person-Centered, Cognitive-Behavioral, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy — but more than any particular method, I believe the therapeutic relationship itself is the foundation of meaningful change. I aim to create a space where you feel genuinely heard and supported as you work toward what matters most to you.

Fees
Individual Therapy: $200 per 50 minute session
Couples Therapy: $250 per 50 minute session
I accept major credit cards and use a HIPAA compliant payment system to ensure confidentiality.
In some cases I offer a reduced fee/sliding scale rate.
Insurance
At this time I do not accept insurance. I am happy to explore in a free 15-minute phone consultation whether your insurance provides out-of-network benefits and can provide a superbill and other documentation to help your insurance reimburse you for session costs.
